“LIT LAB” (literacy and creative writing program for kids)
We'll engage the boys and girls of the Southside community through "LIT Lab," a literacy and creative writing program designed for kids aged 6 to 17 from vulnerable and volatile communities. LIT Lab's curriculum strengthens basic literacy skills while fostering creative expression and teaching key life lessons that shape their worldview. Good Life will collaborate with local nonprofit City Life Ministries and BE YOUU, a North Carolina-based business focused on youth social and emotional wellness, to deliver an interactive program centered on the topic of bullying—both toward others and through negative self-talk.
CULTURE XCHANGE
Join us for heartfelt conversations that bring together our travel team and Jamaicans from diverse backgrounds. These sessions create a welcoming space for everyone, regardless of age, stage, or wage, to share their experiences and perspectives on topics like traditions, faith, family, hopes, challenges, and dreams for the future. It’s a unique opportunity to connect deeply, learn from one another, and build community and understanding across cultures.
Day 3 | SUNDAY
“SUNDAY SERVICE”
Join us as we experience praise and worship at Go For God Family Church in Kingston. We're not just attending church; we're getting involved! From serving with the welcome team, ushers, and kids ministry to the parking lot, experience the vibrant spirit of a Sunday service, Jamaican style!

COMMUNITY WORK
We will open up our “Community Purse Fund," a dedicated donor resource to swiftly address the urgent needs of selected families and small businesses facing significant challenges in the community. Guided by talented local artists and contractors, the Live Loud team will roll up our sleeves to complete hands-on tasks such as home improvement projects.
DAY 5 | tuesday
BEACH DAY
We wake up early in the morning and head to Jamnesia Surf Camp, the home of Jamaican surfing and a place for local and traveling surfers to catch some waves, improve their skills, or simply just enjoy everything the Jamaican culture has to offer. Situated in Eight Miles Bull Bay, a quick 10-minute drive from the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamnesia was established by the Wilmots—Jamaica’s first surfing family.
LUNCH AT HELLSHIRE
After the surf lessons, we head out to St. Catherine, to enjoy one of the finest seafood spots in Jamaica, Hellshire Beach.
DAY 6 | Wednesday
GOOD LIFE DAY AT THE WOMEN’S CENTER (KINGSTON)
In Jamaica, adolescent mothers face barriers to education as they're often not allowed to stay in the traditional school system. However, the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation (WCJF), established in 1978, exists to change that.
The Women’s Centre has entrusted us with full control over the day’s activities. Our mission with Team Live Loud is to empower these young women through personal development workshops built on a customized curriculum designed to boost their confidence and self-esteem. In addition to the workshops, we will provide much-needed school supplies and essential care packages for both the mothers and their babies.
DAY 7 | thursday
GOOD LIFE DAY | PORT ANTONIO PRIMARY SCHOOL
Port Antonio Primary School is one of the largest primary schools in Jamaica, and it holds a special place in our hearts as the first school we adopted seven years ago. Our bond with the staff and students has only grown stronger over time. This year, we are excited to bring our transformative personal development workshops to 600 bright young minds. We’ll wrap up the day with an exciting concert, where our team will continue to engage with the students, and they’ll have the chance to showcase their creativity through the arts.
DAY 8 | FRIDAY
COMMUNITY WORK
We return to Southside, Downtown Kingston to complete our projects and connect further with the community.
DAY 9 | SATURDAY
“LIVE LOUD EVERYDAY!” | TEAM SESSION
On our final day, we’ll gather to unpack the LIVE LOUD experience and receive heartfelt guidance from Pastor Colin. He'll share a powerful charge with the group, offering insights and inspiration on how to continue living boldly and purposefully beyond the trip.
“WALK GOOD” (good bye) - Our farewell event
As the day draws to a close, we gather for our farewell celebration and our highly anticipated awards ceremony, "Walk Good!"
DAY 10 | SUNDAY
“LIKKLE MORE!”
All good things must come to an end. As the Live Loud Experience 2024 draws to a close, our team bids farewell to Kingston and heads home after an incredible week of transformative adventures.
Jamaicans don't like to say goodbye; instead, they say, "LATA! TOMORROW! or LIKKLE MORE!" to signify that it's not really goodbye, but rather, see you again soon!
